IPhone SE home button change?

Did Apple change the 'home' button on the newer SE models to one like an iPhone 7, as in no click? I just purchased an SE from an ATT store on 3/3/2018 that does not have the click style button. It is akin to the iPhone 7

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)
