Bootcamp Disappeared (Created third Partition)

Hello,

I've been running Windows 10 on bootcamp for a while now and because I needed more space on my windows partition, I decided to create a third partition which I planned to merge onto my current windows with MiniTool Partition Wizard. The problem I am having now is that I cannot boot into windows anymore as it does not show when I hold ALT during restart. Also, if I select bootcamp as my default startup disk, it never boots into it and tells me to insert the disk and press a key (similar to when you are formatting a PC).

If anyone could assist me, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Early 2013 MacBook Pro. What could I then use to merge these (the 100.2GB and my current bootcamp)? I do not want to reinstall an entirely new Windows. It would take me a significant amount of time.

I don't have a cd drive nor do I have the windows copy. That whole thread has a lot of nested links and I honestly only even begun this quest since it was pretty short and straight forward with that partition wizard. Is it possible to just fix my windows to show up and take my chances using the wizard tool? I really can't spare the time to go through this much and I'll soon need access back to my bootcamp.

Thank you for your help!

Oh boy, seems any direction I take I face endless command entries. There's a lot of material here again.

At this point is there a quick way to just add my third partition back to the Mac partition? Would this fix my windows partition? If I can just undo this mess, I would call this a win.

If not, what's the fastest way to deleting the entire windows partition, merging it back to the original mac partition and starting a brand new bootcamp partition with the desired, larger size? I guess at this point either way will take a significant amount of time but at least restarting the bootcamp from zero might not force me to read through endless threads 😀

Thank you again!

There are a lot of instructions because you did not correctly use Boot Camp Assistant to resize your Windows partition. If you had followed the Boot Camp instructions for removing Windows then starting over with the partition size you wanted the process would have been simple. Now that you created this situation you are going to have to follow Loner T's instructions regardless how complicated it seems.

I understand what you mean.
I was trying to follow this guide which is very simple:
https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/reszie-boot-camp-partition.html#h owto-resize

Had I known this would go off on a tangent I would have definitely removed the entire partition and started back from zero.

...with that said, what's the fastest way to deleting the entire windows partition, merging it back to the original mac partition and starting a brand new bootcamp partition with the desired, larger size? I guess at this point either way will take a significant amount of time but at least restarting the bootcamp from zero might not force me to read through endless threads 🙂

Thank you all!
