App Store credit card denial?

Ever since I updated to the new iOS 11, my apple App Store will not update any current apps or let me purchase anymore regardless of whether it’s free or not. I have card info already on the account but it won’t connect anymore and verify the account for some reason and my bank says there are no problems on their end. Anyone else having this issue or found a solution?
