FCPX crashes when loading titles, transitions, or effects - Becomes completely useless

Hello FCPX users,

This hasn't happened to me until now, but FCPX crashes when trying to load a title, transition, or effect. I can pretty much do nothing in this application. I tried reinstalling, removing old motion effect packs I bought. Nothing fixed it. - I am running FCPX 10.4 on MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) / 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM.

If anybody can help me out, thank you! I have a movie project for school to get done soon, I hope this will be a small fix.
