Question: The moment I switch on MAC, , a message props up as “THE PATH/System/installation/packages OSIinstal.mpkg appears to be missing or damages

Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again is the MESSAGE.

Except the above the screen does not have any icon 😟

Yes I read that article on medium.com. Maybe not for the faint hearted.


I suspect Booting into Recovery and re-installing the macOS on top of your exist macOS, will complete the task.

This leaves all the user data untouched. Always advise to have backup plan in place.
