do I need to install the legacy and compatibility sound library?

Hi

I have just purchased and installed Logic Pro X. I have never used it or GarageBand before. Totally new to this. Do I need to install the LEGACY AND COMPATIBILITY selections in the sound library?

Do I understand correctly that there are newer Logic Pro X versions of all the instruments and loops etc in the Legacy and Compatibility section? Will I be missing out on anything useful or important if I do not install it?
