minimium requirement for ipad to use with itunes

I am thinking of buying refurb IPAD so manage my iTunes library . Is there a minimum requirement for the ipad to have to enable me to have full iTunes functionality?

I am not thinking of using the ipad for many other things, maybe the odd games, more to free up my laptop and make it work more efficiently.
