Lost control over my dashboard, mission control, and f3 button

I have a Macbook pro (2015 model). I'm not sure if this information is relevant, but everything was working fine until I downloaded the NWEA Lockdown browser for school purposes (MAP testing). Afterward, I proceeded to open my Mission control (with my f3 button) and nothing happened. Using three fingers, like I usually did, I swiped left and right to try and access my dashboard, however, it seemed to have been removed. Using my trackpad, I also tried swiping up with three fingers and nothing happened. I tried restarting and rebooting my laptop several times and even went as far as to clear my console, however, nothing is working. How do I get back my Mission control and dashboard?
