Logic Tool question

You can use the Solo tool for this.

If it's midi - just open the piano roll.... ( there is a keyboard on the left side)...

press a key ( and you will hear the current track sound) - select a different track and press the piano key - you should hear that tracks sound - etc etc.... simple.
