Icloud

I accidentally turned off iCloud on my iPod Touch ( I was looking for more space I only want music in my iPod), however now I rcvd an email telling me how to turn it back on through manage storage however it is grayed out in my i phone and iPad mini. I need my icloud back on for my phone and iPad
