I have just changed my apple id - please advise how I can retain my old itunes library. When I try to access by old itunes library on my laptop it asks for my old id.

For several years I shared my apple id with my wife but this became difficult with us both receiving the same facebook video calls so we have created new separate apple id's.

Now that my apple id has changed could someone please advise how can I retain access to my itunes library on my laptop.

When I try to access, it asks for my old apple id and password.

If I try to put my new apple id and password in it goes crazy and I have to close it down using Task Manager.

If I try to put my old apple id and password in it says the password is no longer recognised.

Help and advice on this issue would be appreciated.
