Im currently writing this on a ms natural keyboard which also has a mouse they are connected to an usb dongle apart from that i have an usb mouse from razer as my main mouse an apple trackpad and a bluetooth ms keyboard

You should be able to just plug it into the USB port on your Mac and get it going from there. They don't always have software for you to fully customize it, but as far as the mouse features go, they will work as a mouse and if you're using it for ergonomic reasons, then it doesn't have a whole ton of features that you would need anyway.
You would have to check and see if there's a driver for it from Microsoft.
What MS mouse...? USB or Wireless...?
Most any USB mouse will work with a Mac.
Most any Wireless with a receiver dongle or one that supports MacOS X or macOS will also work.
