Current face on My Watch App on iPhone not the same as face on Watch itself.

Current face on My Watch App on the iPhone not the same as face on Watch itself. I also do not have the plus sign to be able to create my own watch faces on the watch. I have a series 3 watch. I want the face where I can see my own photos.

Apple Watch face I am using a photo for my watch face. The only complications are the two near the time display. I am looking to add music phone and messages to the bottom of watch face in addition to the other two that are there automatically but cannot find a way to add more complications to the watch face other than the original two.
