Hi,
I am trying to set up my HomePod from my iPhone X. When I get to the end of the set up and Siri says Is there anything you want to ask, I get no response when I say Hey Siri.. The only way I can activate Siri is pressing and holding the top of HomePod. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem? thank you
See the Use Siri section of Change settings for HomePod - Apple Support and make sure that the HomePod is set up to listen for Hey Siri. If you just say "Hey Siri" it should come back with "Uh huh". When asking for things leave a slight pause after the phrase "Hey Siri" before the rest of your request or it may be ignored.
