Cannot import a song into garage band using apple music

I am paying for everything and i am the one not able to import a song because its protected somehow

protected and unavailable songs in iMovie - purchased after 2009 I have today (9th June 2020) just downloaded 3 songs in iTunes, gone into iMovie to add them to my movie and I am getting the message they are protected and unavailable. I have tried adding other tunes but am getting the same thing - why?

Cannot add purchased song in iMovie I have a free trial of Apple Music and understand I cannot use protected music in iMovie; however, I was able to purchase a song in iTunes to use in my iMovie, but it is still saying it is protected. How do I fix this?

Tracks from Apple Music cannot be edited or converted. You have to buy them to do that.
