Music is grey in timeline

I am very new with Final Cut Pro X and don't really have the shortcuts down. I must have selected something and am not aware of it but I really need help! I was successful in making a slideshow for practice with music and now I am working on a more complicated video with a mixture of media.

Everything was going fine, music was playing fine then I must have done something wrong because now all of the sudden the music bar in the timeline is grey and the music will not play. It plays fine in the inspector, just not in the production timeline.

I have tried starting the program again and erasing the preferences, I have checked and Source Media is selected to ALL, I have checked to make sure the clip is "enabled". After two days I am really frustrated! Any ideas?
