limits on homekit devices

How many homekit devices will one apple TV (gen 4) allow to connect? How many wifi connections for homekit devices will one Apple Airport Extreme support? I have 44 switches currently on homekit, and would like to add about 10 more, but am concerned with reported hard limits of 50 devices. Any advice?
