No elevated heart rate notifications from Apple Watch 3
I have some underlying health issues and got an Apple Watch 3 to help monitor my heart rate. I have it set to notify me if my heart rate gets above 100. I’m having issues today where my heart rate spiked to 150-200 when I stood up, which isn’t normal. I haven’t gotten any notifications at all.
Likewise, I was sitting eating breakfast and my heart rate spiked to over 100. Also had sustained heart rate of 90-100 when at my computer, which didn’t register.
Does it it think that typing = not at rest? Is it not sensitive enough to realize that going from 70 resting and 150-200 isn’t normal?
I have an appointment with my doctor. I’m just a bit annoyed since I thought it’d be more useful. Unless this isn’t normal.
