Dock glitch on MacOS High Sierra

Recently i have experienced a glitch where my dock doest go down after i go in an app. Im not sure what to do. Any suggestions

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

Open the Terminal app from the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Type in the following and then hit return.

killall Dock

Please note the command is case-sensitive. After running the command your dock should restart and appear normally.
