deleted error filling up /var/log/install.log

I just noticed today that every 30 seconds for the past 6 months, the "deleted" (delete-d) daemon has been throwing errors into /var/log/install.log. My install.log is over 500 megs in size. Sure, I could purge it, but I'd rather fix the issue first.

This is what my log is full of:

It seems to log the error 7 times each 30 seconds.

I checked a couple of other computers and they have similar errors in their install.log, but to a lesser extent.

Any ideas what I could do to solve this?

MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 (although I've upgraded a few times since the problem began)

In this case it's probably a bug. The system logs every time [DMManager clientConforms:error] message is dispatched (method is called). This happens when recoverable space is requested from an app. In case you're using an app that frequently calculates free disk space (iStat Menus for example), the log quickly fills up. I can confirm this is still an issue with 10.13.4 (17E199).
