Bluetooth Audio sync issues on iPad Pro 10.5

It seems this is a continuing issue and as I cannot reply to the other threads, I am opening a new one.

I have the Jaybird X3 (BT 4.1) headphones paired with my iPad Pro 10.5 (all iOS updates are up-to-date).

Whenever I play a video source - the audio lags so far behind the videos are unwatchable. Other posts have pointed to at least 3 other types of BT headphones with this same issue.

Is there a way to adjust the audio / video sync timing to make using BT headphones endurable with an iPad Pro?
