Logic Pro X with OS 10.10.5?

I own an old MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) ---- 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7----16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I would like to buy Logic Pro X but don't think it will run on my system. Do I have any options to buy an older Logic version? Or are there any workarounds?

I've been a Pro Tools user for ever and want to try Logic.
