I recently lost some contacts on my iPhone x 256, iOS 11.2.6. I recently upgraded from a iPhone 6 Plus. How can I retrieve the missing contacts?

Try -- If you accidentally deleted your calendars, reminders, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud - Apple Support.
