The Apple Watch S3 LTE was bought on the 9th Feb 2018, and a swelling on surface was found (shown as the attached pic). I am thinking if it made by unlocking the Water Lock as didn't notify until using the Water Lock function recently.

The battery swelling is not a myth. This is what happened to my series 3, 42mm, cellular, 1 month old while charging yesterday. Notice the single fracture along the curved surface of the glass, the entire perimeter. Really not happy.
I sent my cracked Watch to Apple to be reviewed. As a result of their analysis, they sent a replacement back to me a no cost. Also, I don’t have Apple care.
No information about the results of their testing.
