I had this problem since forever. Finally found the solution!!!
Your address & phone number in the “personal informations” section, as well as in your “payment information” (within the Starbucks app) has to be EXACTELY the absolute same than the information you are using within ApplePay while checking out in iMessage (just before confirming your purchase with TouchID you can modify your address and phone number, they need to be the exact same than what is in the Starbucks app).
A simple comma in your address in ApplePay that isn’t in your Starbucks profile & payment info will prevent it from working!! Make sure phone number is the same (no +1 in any field). Also I have removed every special caracter & accents from my addresses. And it’s Finally working wow wow.
