What cables are needed for a new iMac for firewire, ethernet, usb old devices

Getting a new iMac. Presently I use a mid 2010 iMac. I have several older devices, - printer and DSL modem that use ethernet and usb connections. What cables and adapters will I need to connect to the new iMac?

Thanks

The current iMacs have USB 3 ports which are backwards compatible with USB 2 and USB 1. If your devices are compatible with High Sierra they should work without new cables and dongles except FireWire. To use FireWire drives you'll need a dongle - check Apple's Web site. (I've had middling luck with 3rd party dongles.)
