Where is Wallet app on my iphone 8?

I recently upgraded from iphone 5s to an 8. I vaguely remember some app which I didn't want to use but which wasn't deletable so I put it in a folder called "Apple Crap." I don't see that folder on my new phone. I don't see an app called "Wallet." I understand how to use Wallet but I don't see it. Is it possible that I somehow it got deleted and I can't even restore it through iTunes because the only backup there now is from my new 8?

The Wallet app isn't one of the apps that you can delete. The issue wouldn't be related to what backups you do or do not have. Have you tried using search (swipe down starting at the middle of the home screen) to see if that will find it?

Yes, Wallet is an app which normally has an icon on the home screen. See: Use Wallet on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

On my iPhone, search finds it and shows it in the Applications section of the search results.

Thank you! I added Wallet to the search options and finally found it. I had it buried in a folder...

Yes, I've tried that. The only thing which comes up points me to Settings to do things like set up Apple Pay. Is Wallet an app which has a little icon and sits on the screen and is clickable like all other apps?
