Why am I getting a “Sign-in Required” message for my email even though I haven’t changed my email password recently and my current password is set and works? This issue started in the last few days. It also seems to be affecting my email box because Deleted emails will repopulate into my mailbox the next time I open it.
I have all updates and current iOS is 11.2.6.
I’ve never had to redo my password when opening my mail on my iPhone. I also tried entering the password and nothing happen. I can open the mail without issue even when cancelling the request and since the password is still in the phone there is no need to request it.
Thanks but if you had read my whole statement you would have seen that I have updated to 11.2.6, which is when this started. But I was hoping someone from Apple Support would answer because it’s obvious that it’s an issue with iOS.

I'd recommend you reboot your phone. I can give you directions, but I need to know which model iPhone you own. Rebooting often fixes little issues after a software update.
Thanks I realize now, since I haven’t had to use them in years, that Apple has turned over their Troubleshooting responsibilities to the Users and left us all hanging.
I’ll try a hard reboot and see if that doesn’t correct the issue. These iOS updates are beginning to be more like Windows updates.
It's not uncommon to have to re-sign into a mail accounts. What happens when you enter your password? Yahoo for example has me do it on a regular basis.
This is happening because AOL's server is rejecting your credentials. Start by updating your phone to iOS 11.2.6, then test further. If unresolved you need to work with AOL to resolve this.

Go to settings down to Email Accounts delete account that not working correctly then add back again.
