I have some free apps which offer in-app purchases which I have not used. I have never ever entered any payment information into Apple's system. However, I do know that many free apps seem to have an automatic subscription to something with a free trial. They hope to get you to sign up and then forget to cancel the subscription, then charge you a ridiculous amount (I think somebody has found a way to game the system) when the autorenewal starts charging.
Most "free" apps also offer in-app purchases which require a credit card.
I wasn’t trying to buy anything in the apps, I already have em in my phone. I just wanna update the apps but it won’t let me, it’s asking for billing information and won’t let me hit continue ?
My iPhone won’t let me update my apps, it’s asking for billing information. It shouldn’t cost to update your apps.
