Hello, I have started up in recovery and I see more than one disk to choose from "Click Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions. You'll be asked to select your disk. If you don't see it, click Show All Disks."
There is only one disk but I see more than one option. Which do I choose?
I'll bite, why do you think it's a GPU problem?
I have the same question. Do you mean the computer isn't booting or that you think the videocard isn't functioning?
I have done the hardware test several times and it shows no problems.
I have everything backed up in time machine.
I have thought about installing an older OS so I will give that a try.

In the Geforce manager if I switch from the Mac's graphics to the
Geforce graphics it starts to boot up and then freezes.
It is the graphics setting. The GPU. If I start up with the Geforce it freezes.
Stating up with the Macs GPU it runs but slowly.
So why wouldn't that mean there's a problem using the GeForce manager? It's been a long time but I thought I remembered trying to replace or override a Mac's graphics driver was always problematic.
Yeah, Apple rolls the video driver for computers that have a discrete card into the OS. Trying to use Video drivers from other sources sometimes works and sometimes not.
Yes. Hence my recommendation to remove the GeForce manager. Crashing seems to be a sign it's not working. 😎

FWIW, there is only one GPU in your iMac.
In the Nvidia Driver Manager It shows two choices. One is the Nvidia Web Driver
and the other is the Default macOS Driver.
Yes, two different drivers, one GPU. I would recommend uninstalling the GeForce manager.
