How to restore Photo library from External Hard drive

Had a backup done of a broken MacBook Air (they used xCopy). Trying to get my photos back into the Photos app (different MacBook Air). There is no .photoslibrary file on the backup. How else can I find my photos? The external hard drive was formatted correctly.

Looking for the file path that it would be under.

If there is a Photos Library file on the backup then simply drag it over to the /Home/Pictures/ folder on the computer. If that was not copied over then you would need to go back to the source, locate the file, and copy it to the backup. Otherwise, if you just ended up with photos then you can import them into Photos on the other computer.
