Disable side button SOS

I keep my iphone 8 in a belt pouch. Every time I bend over it pushes the 2 side buttons and brings up the sos screen. After it does this my fingerprint will no longer work until i type my passcode in my phone. This is getting super annoying almost to the point of switching over to android. I have been an iphone user since day1. Please tell me there is a way to disable the side buttons bringing up the sos screen.

No I am not talking about how to disable sos auto call. I don't want to ever see that sos screen again! Help!
