'Pictures' missing from all Finder sidebars

Hi

In every Finder window sidebar, in every Open dialogue, in every Save dialogue, etc etc, the folder 'Pictures' is not there. Yet Music, Documents, Movies, Dropbox, Applications, etc are always there. To get to Pictures, I must click my username and expand down one level.

Not a huge burden you may think. No, not if you have to do it once, but every single time? What cockamamie decision was it to leave one of our essential folders out of the sidebar?

Anyone understand why this was done?

Just figured it out (should have tried this first..)

It's a tick box in Finder Preferences. Not sure how it became unchecked, but it's good now. 🙂
