Starting runkeeper from Apple Watch series 2

Hi up till a few weeks ago, I could start runkeeper from my Apple Watch and the runkeeper app on my phone would start as well and my music would start automatically.

However, recently I found when I start runkeeper from my watch, it would not start the app on my phone. Music would not play as well. However, if I start runkeeper app on my phone, music would start playing And the app on my watch starts up as well.

I’ve updated my iOS on phone and watch, tried to reload the app... nothing works.

I really hate having to start the app from my phone. I rather keep it in my bag and start the app from my watch.

Any ideas how to resolve
