flex time not working properly since update 10.4

Does anyone know why in 10.4 and 10.41 update, when you use flex time on a track it completely screws up the timing even without you changing tempo on the session? I've looked at other threads but can't get it working. All I want to do is speed up the session and the audio follow but Logic now seems incapable of that!

Any insight gratefully appreciated

When I click 'show/hide flex' in the tool bar nothing happens, nothing at all. no options to choose flex mode, no analysing, nothing! Stop Flex Time from making changes In the old version of Flex Time, I could turn it on on a track and then move things around as I needed. Now, when I turn it on on a track, it makes all these timing moves BEFORE I do anything to it. I'm working on a track with distorted guitars and just need the downbeats to line up a bit better. Just want to nudge that one bit forward a little.e But when I turn flex time on, it has changed the timing of the entire track! I started going through and moving everything back, but it was insane. Is there a setting that will just add the flex markers WITHOUT it makings any moves first? Thanks.
