emailing photos lost after phone locks

This question was asked in 2016 it is now 2018 and the problem is not solved.

A simple interruption lost a lengthy email that was started in photos. Not to be found in drafts or photos.

I select images, share via email, and as I write the email, I go to another app to look something up… big mistake, because when I go to Mail, or Photos, the email and everything I have written is no where to be found! email from Camera lost In the Camera app on my ipad, I selected some photos in Camera Roll, then selected Mail. Photos were attached, and I wrote a long email, then before sending it, I switched to Safari to check something. Now I can’t find that email in Camera or in Mail (eg in Drafts). Where could it be?
