IOS 9 uprade instead of IOS 11

Question

I'm trying to upgrade iPhone 6 plus - only available upgrade is IOS 11

my last upgrade

was IOS 8 and I would like to upgrade to IOS 9 - how do I do this?

Not possible. Updating will only install the highest available iOS for that model which is the current iOS version.

You can not upgrade to an intermediate version.

You don't. You can only update to the current version.
