Weird problems with High Sierra? Trusteer may be cause

My bank did a pretty hard "sell" on using Trusteer a few years ago

Almost every time I read about Trusteer, it's a bank that insists their customers install it. Some won't even accept, or keep you as a customer unless they can detect Trusteer running on your computer when using their online services.

To me, that means I'm moving all of my assets to a different bank that day.

Banks derive kickback revenue for promoting that product. That is its sole reason for existing: not to protect you, your Mac, or your financial institution. It’s just a money grab.

Perhaps they would like to share that revenue with you, because all you’ll get in return is a Mac that doesn’t work.

If a bank needs to depend on customers using Trusteer to keep their accounts secure I think you should look to moving to a more technologically knowledgeable bank. I would not feel safe with their capabilities with respect to security.
