I can't connect more than one bluetooth device

Its been going on since I got the machine.

10.12.5

MacBook Pro ( 13-in, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

2.4 GHz Intel Core i7

Serial C02TC0EHGVC8

They intermittently disconnect meaning my mouse doesn't click where I want it to or my keyboard skips some characters. It happens constantly. Considering Apple's war on wires, this is a nightmare. I now have dongle after dongle after dongle after dongle taking over my life. Please don't make me drive to an Apple store. I work from home and the only 3 apple stores are at the center of the worst traffic nightmares in the city.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.5)
