For example: Changing the tempo from 100 to 200 bpm and the half notes will now be whole notes, 8ths are quarters etc...
If you're talking about MIDI regions, change the tempo, select all the regions and hold the option key while you drag the regions out to double their length. It helps to set the snap to bars first.
Why do you need to do this?
The notes overlap doing this
To make the music more readable and easer to edit manually on the piano roll as well
That's odd...If they didn't overlap in the regions before you stretched them, they shouldn't overlap now.
If I change the tempo, the notes are still the same space relative to space the measure takes up in the Piano Roll window. Their relative length doesn't change
Double the tempo and change note values
