Can I keep the iPad 2 plugged while the app is playing a 10 sec loop video for long time periods?

I have an iPad 2 and I'm using it to display 10sec video loop in a gallery. The iPad only have 1 app that Im using for the video call "Loops" helps to keep looping the video at all time. The iPad is clean, doesnt have any photos, other videos or apps. My question is: Can I keep the iPad 2 plugged/charging while the app is playing the video for long time periods? because Im not in the gallery Im not sure if the people who works there will turn the iPad on/off. The iPad \ will be in the gallery for 1 month.
