Question: Acura RDX 2017 and Iphone 7 plus- bad match!!

My iphone 7plus is worse than the blackberry I just traded in to my company. At least my blackberry was able to sync all my phone contacts- iphone 7 plus has a flaw in it due to the iOS and will not perform to its capabilities. Apple is hurting now with Jobs not on the job - will switch to an Android at my first opportunity.

Is it clear that the iOS 11.2.6 is the issue since when i got my iphone 7plus and drove home it synced fined and all my contacts where imported into my 2017 Acura Rdx. When I arrived home, apple wanted to update the iOS so I did thinking it would be needed to get most out of the iphone- wrong choice!!!

Is there a way to go back to an earlier iOS other than the 11.2.6 where it worked fine before???

Blackberry, Samsung or any other would be better- major disappointment being a new user of apple iphone. I am warning everyone I know and have also called the Acura dealership too since it was not there doing, clearling the update on iOS trigger this issue.

Just read forums from Android users and you'll find that they have the exact same problems when they upgrade their phones. This is not an iPhone specific issue. The only way you can avoid having the problem is once it's working with your vehicle to never update again whether you have an iPhone or you have an Android. Until the vehicles all have a universal way of connecting phones with standardized firmware this will always be a problem.
