How do I get mailboxes to automatically display alphabetically?

I had this problem on my old MacBook, and I just placed my new MacBook into service. When I create new mailboxes in Apple Mail, they do not always display alphabetically in the mailbox pane. On my phone and my iPad they DO show up in alphabetical order, but not necessarily on my MacBook. I'm running High Sierra 10.13.3 on a new MacBook Pro w/ 2.8 Ghz processor and 16GB ram. It seems like there should be a way for mailboxes to automatically sort alphabetically, but I can't seem to make it happen.

In gmail account when new mail boxes are created under on my Mac section in mail side bar , they are set alphabetically automatically , if there is any fault in your mail application , delete the mail application and once again configure see this article Set up Mail on your Mac with email accounts - Apple Support

There are some third party apps to sort mailboxes alphabetically , but that are not be used in Macs .
