no option for ascending inputs when creating a track.

My production partner and I bothe use logic. We use the same laptop model MacBook Pro with the same version of logic and OS according the the numbers. However his logic doesn’t display the option for creating new tracks with ascending inputs. I’m a drummer and I use that function everyday. We also mix through a summing mixer so setting up mixes can be a pain.


I’ve searched forums and help menus, prefs and I can’t find it anywhere. When I create a track on my system vs on his system it seems to be a different drop down screen and simply doesn’t have the check box that should be there.


I’ve been using logic since 7 and he has been loyal since 5 but neither of us can figure this one out.


I could just be missing something obvious. 🏼♂

preferences->display uncheck "show icons in new track dialogue"
