PowerBeats stopped working

My PowerBeats stopped working at 11AM yesterday, with no indication of it having any problems until I tried playing music from Spotify.


It does absolutely nothing, and even the light doesn't do anything unless it's plugged in to charge (which it doesn't). It won't even show up in the USB section of System Report or the Beats Updater. I left it charging last night, and nothing's changed at all.

It looks like you're experiencing an issue with your PowerBeats2. They aren't charging and the indicator light is off. Great job on the troubleshooting steps you've tried. As a next step, follow the guidance here to reset your Beats earphones:

If the issue persists after following the above steps, I recommend that you contact Apple Support.

Apple - Support - Product Selection -- Apple Support will be able to troubleshoot this issue further with you and they can also supply all of your service options if needed.
