How to prevent apps from placing specific shows in the Up Next line up?

I want to like the Up Next feature of the TV app. But it keeps getting filled with garbage. It should act as a lineup, but the apps take over and instead of switching streams, like from watching The Daily Show, followed by The Late Show, I get Drunk History. I do not care for Drunk History. But to make matters worse the same god-awful shows keep infiltrating the Up Next area, and no matter how many times I delete them they are constantly being sent back. I hate Seal Team, but whenever I watch anything on the CBS App, Seal Team is in the batter's box. And before I can stop it, it is there in Up Next, which I have to delete again and again and again and again and again...and yet again.
