Apple ID

I bought a iPad from someone today and everything is working right but it still says that their Apple ID is still connected and they won’t answer me right now is there any way I could or you could restart the ipad new??

iPAD7 stuck on "setting up Apple ID" for 1 hour I got a new iPAD7; during setup, it offered to sync from my iPhone which I accepted; then it asked for Apple ID and i reset the password as I could not access my current one; after that, it has been stuck on the same screen with the message "setting up Apple ID" for more than an hour. How do I get out of this?
