I have built-in apps on my iPad that I do not use. I want to delete them. But using the directions on the support page are the same as apps I have installed. So, this method does not work. Is there any other way to delete built-ins? (iBooks, PhotoBooth, Reminders, Videos, GameCenter).

If it's a question of wanting to reduce the visual clutter, you should be able to move them into a folder and move the folder to a new home screen, then just don't scroll to that page. I'm pretty sure that trick worked back on iOS 9.3.5.
Are you using iOS 10 or 11? Your signature indicates iOS 8 in which case, no you cannot remove those (as explained in the link you used as your post header).
Hi Michael, thanks for the quick reply. My software says iOS 9.3.5. So, from your response, it sounds like I'm stuck with them.
Yes, the ability to remove those default apps was introduced with iOS 10 and is not available in previous releases.
