Everytime I start my iMac, it always gets stuck on the loading screen an inch away from completing the process. I tried booting it in safe mode and recovery mode but it doesn’t work. Anything else you have in mind?

Are you saying even if you boot up your Mac in either Safe or Recovery <command><R> mode, it still just hangs at the point where the Apple logo appears with a loading bar? Is your keyboard attached directly to your iMac or is it wireless? If the latter, have you tried with a USB keyboard?
