Temporary Disabling Apps

I am traveling to China with my iPhone 6+. Although I have a VPN I would like to disable certain apps like contacts, certain banking apps etc. I really want nothing available but my wireless VPN connection.

Thanks for any insight.

You could do a backup and then delete all the apps that you don't want while traveling. Just make sure that you turn off the backup before you leave. Once you get back, restore the backup and your phone would be just like it was from the last time you backed up.

Dear Apple, please stop restricting this feature from iPhones! For a long time, all iPhones sold in China have had the ability to prevent specific apps from accessing WiFi and cellular data. You can toggle it on or off for each app individually in the settings. This is not only good for blocking ads but also preventing apps (that don't require internet) from stealing your data. why dont i have app using apple id on my 13 max pro? why is that not anywhere on my phone and when i do type it in i get vpn?!?! please help ty!
